Collapsing Dualities

Dualities are essentially the foundation of how we perceive time and how we entertain our souls during this earthly life. Our entire life turns into a continuous game with no pauses or spaces free from rules. The essence of this game is simple: we choose one side of the barricades and then deal with the consequences of that choice.

We are used to dividing the world into black and white: good and evil, life and death, the divine and the devilish. We rush between freedom and dependency, light and darkness, spiritual searches and material goods.

But what is the trap here? When you are inside such a duality, your life no longer belongs to you-it is governed by the rules of the side you chose. You spend a huge amount of energy trying to keep yourself within the limits of being, for example, a “purely good” person, constantly suppressing and fighting the opposite side. The irony is that these poles are inseparable: one simply cannot exist without the other.

The goal of true inner work is not to finally “defeat evil” or reach “absolute good.” The goal is the “collapse” of dualities. When you realize that both sides exist within you, the game loses its power over you, and inner silence and peace finally arrive.

This gives you amazing adaptability. You stop being a prisoner of a single role and gain the freedom to move between these states depending on what the situation requires. Of course, it is possible to go beyond all dualities entirely, but this state of “becoming everything” comes at a high price-for an ordinary person, it often means losing all familiar social landmarks.

Mandala destroys main rigid concepts within person; it removes unnecessary tension and brings back the most valuable thing-true freedom of choice.
