The comment i posted above should have been rephrased better. The requests don’t necessarily annoy him so much as they burden him, among other things. From what I have read, he is very empathic and sensitive, and can feel the emotions of those he interacts with. This includes all those requesters in his comments.
I think the real reason he is quitting, however, is because of the abuse and misuse of his creations. A lot of people have circulated his advanced files on the black market, and because of this there have been karmic consequences for everyone involved (including himself, the seller and the buyer). Meanwhile, people also don’t take his warnings seriously and spam his audios, leading to their nervous systems getting fried by the intense energies. These problems have only grown along with Shiva’s popularity. Earlier, he used to be very helpful and friendly to those in his comments. But now, he seems to be agonized by every reply he gives to commentors (but he still tries to do it). In fact, Shiva almost already quit few weeks ago. The only thing stopping him was an email he received from girl saying that one of his audios brought her mother out of a coma. So he still intends to honor whatever requests he already has, but after that he’s done. And I respect that. But I want to encourage others to respect that as well, because it would be inconsiderate and just burden him even more to disregard his wishes.
(this next reply is not directed at you specifically, so please don’t feel offended)
Maybe they will, maybe they won’t. But I think it is a very poor attitude to take the creators we already have for granted, blindly hoping assuming that “someone else” will just happen to come along as if they are disposable. These creators are very talented in their own rights, and they should be appreciated properly. Going back to my previous point, one of the first things people do when Shiva (and practically every other creator) uploads a new video is not thank them for it, or give a review. They make a request for another audio to be made. It’s always “More! More! More!” Rather than appreciate what we do have. I’ll admit that I myself have been guilty of this, but when Shiva posted the comment in the screenshot above, I have since taken a step back and decided to just appreciate whatever is put out by the creators rather than ask. I have pretty much everything I need now anyways.
I think we all need to learn the difference between receiving the gifts we are given, and taking them.
Yeah, you know, from others’ perspectives I can see how I may come off as a tabloid author given how much “gossip” I seem to air out. So I would like to clear up any misunderstandings.
My primary goal, and the motivation behind a lot of the updates I post, is to educate others and shed light on the facts regarding creators in this community. This was also my motivation behind creating The Dossier (which I really should update). I see a lot of misinformation and falsehoods which are spread around by others, and it frustrates me to see that people aren’t properly using these powerful tools, or have misconceptions about them which limits them.
It is not my intention to perpetuate gossip, in fact it’s quite the opposite. I try to play the role of peacemaker, and dissolve any inter-community drama/conflict wherever I may he able to, be it here or sapien’s forum. I want all of us to get a long and respectfully acknowledge each-other’s views/opinions even if we don’t necessarily agree. That is why you see me involved in situations like these: not to perpetuate them, but rather diffuse them.
Yes, and I appreciate that a lot. And I’m sure others do too. I also posted this to sapien’s forum to spread the message and hopefully encourage others not to bug Shiva.
