We left Patreon when they launched the shop feature, and I actually don’t know what it’s like or whether it’s any good. Overall, I mostly want us to create more specific categories, because a lot of people tell us they can’t find their way around easily.

I liked the maitreyastore, but it will totally okay to change the store, if it brings benefits for all or you only

Clearly, then Patren won’t work. Categories can be created there, but they will be shared. And in fact, all the fields will be in the same pile.

From Patreon , Content and files be shared in archieve sites. Which further be stolen or black marketed around.
I initially used Gumroad, but then switched to Maitreyastore because I can shop there without the 23% VAT, which is a huge amount for the most expensive mandalas. So, most of my purchases are made on Maitreyastore.
If switching platforms is beneficial for you and will help you grow, I’m all for it.

Yeah, I choose Maitreyastore over Gumroad for the reasons mentioned above.
(I pay via PayPal, don’t know if it’s of any importance)

It’s weird, I have used Gumroad with Paypal for most of my Maitreya purchases and never had any issues with that, bypassing tax or accessing my purchases from email links/library. There’s even been a few times when discounts were slightly higher on Gumroad than on Maitreya store 
As for Maitreya and team’s side of it, I completely understand and support moving the store to Shopify

How will it affect the new taxes from US to EU?
There won’t be taxes for US in Shopify store. I guess already know the answer what is right to do. :))) Thank you guys for your feedback!
