Paypal and Gumroad

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to buy a field from maitreya as a new years present for myself :slight_smile: and noticed something that I was not aware of before: gumroad seems to have parted ways with paypal and thus you cannot pay with paypal anymore,

Did anybody else noticed that? And is paypal still an option on the maitreya shop own website?

Paypal is often a pain, but for the international buyers it was most often the only /easiest solution, so it would be something interesting for maitreya and staff to know, when the issue with paypal is universal.

Yes, Gumroad stopped working with PayPal. Now they only accept cards. I think the payments are processed through Stripe.

I was considering whether to remove one of the stores, but with the current developments, there will still be two for now until we find a better solution.

You can use PP in maitreyastore

This may have been an effect of the Honey add-on? On my side I minimised all uses of PP.

I think the drift happened way before.

I don’t know what this add-on is. As far as I understood, PP has ended their contract with them. Sometimes they label digital files as risky, and things like this can happen.
