All fields work while they’re being used - an audio while listening, a DM while you’re carrying it with you (unless it’s one that needs to be activated which it will say in the description). With the audios, the field is being broadcasted - as mentioned previously, the field overrides any effects of the music. The music is just there for a nice listening experience and has no effects on it’s own.
