Soul Path vs. Manifestation powers

Hi there! So, please bear with me, I’m a newbie to these sorts of discussions. Maybe the answer is clear to others, hence I’m turning it over to you folks. So, from what I understand, our lives are ultimately governed by a soul path. But if we have the tools/ability to manifest wonderful things and new events in our lives (eg. with the reality shifter, for example,) does that mean we’re somehow overriding our soul path? Or are we just taking pleasant and satisfying detours on the way to the same end goal?

We are still following our souls(higher self, etc) path for us and exceeding the time it would take for us to learn lessons with these tools. It affords us more time to go on “side quests”

Well, maybe we born in this time and conditions to get this because is in our paths.
