How to Recognize When Your Jing Energy Has Increased (and Ways to Strengthen It Even More)

In Taoist tradition, Jing (Essence) is one of the Three Treasures — along with Qi (energy) and Shen (spirit). Jing is your deep life-force foundation: the source of vitality, sexual energy, and longevity.

:magnifying_glass_tilted_right: Signs Your Jing Energy Has Increased

When your Jing rises, you may notice:

  • Physical vitality – stable daily energy, quicker recovery from effort
  • Sexual energy with control – stronger drive but balanced with inner steadiness
  • Strong body – healthier skin, hair, bones, and overall resilience
  • Grounded presence – calm confidence, reduced anxiety
  • Clear mind – sharper focus and better memory

It feels like having a deep “core strength” inside you, not just surface-level energy.

:seedling: Ways to Strengthen Jing Even Further

1. Sexual Energy Conservation

  • For men: reduce excessive release and learn to circulate energy upward through the Microcosmic Orbit.
  • For women: connect breath and awareness with the womb and heart, guiding energy inward and upward.

2. Breathwork & Meditation

  • Deep belly breathing into the lower dantian (below the navel) strengthens the Jing reservoir.
  • Taoist Inner Smile meditation refines essence into Qi and harmonizes the body.

3. Lifestyle Habits

  • Prioritize rest and deep sleep to naturally restore Jing.
  • Gentle movement like Tai Chi, Qigong, and Yoga preserves and circulates essence.
  • Avoid overstimulation (stress, overwork, addictions) which drains Jing.

4. Food & Herbs

  • Nourishing foods: black sesame, walnuts, goji berries, bone broth, mineral-rich roots.
  • Traditional Taoist Jing tonics (consult a professional): He Shou Wu (Fo-Ti), Rehmannia, Cordyceps.

5. Energetically programmed field
Alongside these practices, you can also uplift your Jing with our energetically programmed field, designed to strengthen and activate your Jing.

:balance_scale: A Note on Balance

Jing is precious — like the oil in a lamp. Once depleted, it’s not easily replenished. The key is to conserve, cultivate, and refine it, so it supports your body, mind, and spirit for years to come.

:sparkles: When Jing increases, you don’t just feel more energetic — you feel rooted, strong, and deeply alive. Treat it as sacred, and it will illuminate every aspect of your life.

Thank you very much for the post. I have been guilty of abusing my Jing with all the overstimulations mentioned and it has taken a good few years to recover. This field has been working fast and visibly-
I chant for 1.5 hrs everyday. Anything after that I got lower back pain and it was hard to maintain posture. After used this I could go up to 2.5. current goal is 7. I am hopeful that this field will be immensely helpful.

I am a tiny woman, so sometimes it’s hard for me handle awkwardly shaped heavier objects. This one helped me today.

Two of my goals this year has been helped by this field. I cannot thank you enough for this one.

That’s wonderful to hear! I’m glad the field is helping you extend your practice time and even with everyday strength. Wishing you steady progress toward your 7-hour goal :folded_hands:

Do you think this field will help you gain more strength to exercise?

In my limited experience with this one, definitely yes. I would be able to add more details once I have used this some more days. Currently, it helps in pushing through inertia that pulls me down and increases resilience and will power. It also is aiding in back strength for me and helping me channel energy through feet while lifting stuff. I don’t work out extensively, so can’t comment what’s the impact for someone who does so.
