I love food—I really love food. I wish I could eat whatever I wanted and not gain weight, but unfortunately, my body thinks differently. A few years ago, when I went through DNA Repair, Christ Consciousness and 36 Strands clearing, I suddenly stopped eating meat. I was okay with that because instead of meat, I consumed more fish. Then I noticed I eat fish only when I feel low. I didn’t force myself to stop eating meat, it just happened.
Then it was milk. I had to move into lactose-free because I was so so so bloated. I loved milk. I didn’t want to give up on diary, lol. Even when my body seems to want everything lactose-free.
I have a skin reaction to alcohol; I never drank too much, but now almost not at all.
For the past months I’ve been ignoring that I don’t react well to gluten. I said to myself - no way, I will eat what I want. I used fields for allergies, I used Medicine Man, and I removed beliefs about allergies. My body apparently veto that every time
Now it’s time for coffee, and I want to cry. So I need to change my food habits completely, which I don’t like at all. So basically, I am like a stubborn little baby, crying that I want to eat bread because I love food. I think I will pause my spiritual evolution because I don’t want to end up on water and fresh air only
I did a bit of research because I never looked at food from that perspective. I know I’ve made so many upgrades, I know my body went through energetic storm so many times. Funny, that I wrote in my Reality Note, that I will listen and respond to my body and treat with respect.
This is what I’ve discovered - information below should not be considered as any medical advice, and your food consumption is your responsibility; this is only a spiritual approach to food for information purposes.
The Spiritual Evolution of Food: Navigating Intolerances on Your Path to Growth
As you move through the transformative process of spiritual evolution, changes in your relationship with food often emerge as a natural part of the journey. Foods that once felt nourishing may start to feel heavy or even intolerable. Whether it’s gluten, lactose, coffee, sugar, alcohol, or meat, your body may begin to reject certain substances as it aligns more closely with your evolving spiritual frequency.
Rather than seeing these sensitivities as restrictions, they can be viewed as invitations to refine your diet and energy in ways that better support your spiritual path. Let’s explore how different food intolerances can be understood in the context of spiritual growth, and what deeper messages they might hold.
Gluten: The Shift Towards Lightness and Flow
Gluten, found in wheat and other grains, is a grounding and dense food that many people naturally turn to for comfort and sustenance. Yet, as your spiritual evolution unfolds, you may find that gluten becomes harder to digest, leaving you feeling sluggish or disconnected. Spiritually, this could represent a shift away from grounding energies and a movement towards more refined, flowing vibrations.
Gluten’s connection with the root chakra, the energy centre responsible for grounding and stability, might also explain why some find it no longer serves them on a spiritual journey that focuses on expanding higher chakras, such as the heart or crown. If gluten leaves you feeling weighed down, it could be a sign that your body is urging you to embrace foods that are lighter and more in tune with the energy of spiritual clarity and growth.
Lactose: Releasing Dependency for Greater Inner Nurturing
Lactose intolerance, which affects many, especially during times of spiritual evolution, may symbolise the body’s need to move away from old patterns of external nurturing. Dairy, with its association with comfort and motherly care, can become less compatible as you begin to source your nurturing from within. As you develop spiritually, the rejection of lactose may be a physical reflection of the emotional and spiritual growth you are undergoing—learning to rely on your inner strength and self-care rather than external comforts.
Linked to the solar plexus chakra, which governs digestion and personal power, lactose intolerance might signal that your body and spirit are seeking to strengthen this energy centre, encouraging you to cultivate your own sense of confidence and nurturing.
Coffee: Tuning into Natural Rhythms
For many, coffee is a beloved ritual, providing that quick energy boost and mental clarity. However, as you spiritually evolve, you may find your body resisting coffee’s stimulating effects. While it may satisfy an immediate desire for energy, coffee often interferes with your natural flow, leaving you feeling jittery, anxious, or drained.
Spiritually, coffee might represent a reliance on external sources of energy, when your body is calling for more balanced, natural ways to maintain vitality. Your sensitivity to coffee could be guiding you to trust your body’s rhythms, relying on practices like rest, meditation, or grounding foods to sustain your energy. Listening to your body’s rejection of coffee is part of the process of honouring your evolving energy and letting go of substances that no longer serve you.
Sugar: The Lesson of Balance and Patience
Sugar, with its quick spikes of energy followed by inevitable crashes, can become difficult to tolerate as you progress along your spiritual path. Spiritually, sugar intolerance may reflect a deeper lesson about balance and patience. As you grow, your body might crave more sustained sources of energy rather than the instant gratification sugar provides.
Sugar’s energetic fluctuations can also symbolise a need to let go of the temporary highs that distract you from the deeper, long-term fulfilment that comes with spiritual growth. By moving away from sugar, you may find that your energy levels stabilise, allowing you to experience more grounded and sustained clarity.
Alcohol: A Desire for Clarity and Purity
Alcohol, which has long been associated with relaxation and altered states of consciousness, can interfere with your spiritual clarity as you evolve. Increased sensitivity to alcohol might indicate that your body is rejecting substances that cloud your energy field and lower your vibration.
As you move towards a more aligned state of being, your system may resist anything that blurs your consciousness. Spiritual practices often emphasise sobriety and clarity, and your body may now require that same purity to maintain balance. Alcohol intolerance might be a sign that you are stepping into a new phase of heightened awareness and energetic clarity, asking for a cleaner, clearer way of living.
Meat: The Shift Away from Heaviness and Grounding Energies
Perhaps one of the most significant dietary shifts during spiritual evolution is the relationship with meat. Many people find that as they progress spiritually, they naturally feel a pull away from consuming animal products. Meat, which is dense and grounding, can feel heavy on both the body and energy field, and your spiritual path may call for foods that feel lighter, more energising, and in harmony with your evolving state.
From a spiritual perspective, reducing or eliminating meat can symbolise a movement towards compassion, both for yourself and for the world around you. Many associate eating meat with a more primal, survival-based energy, linked to the root chakra. As you evolve, you may find yourself more in tune with the heart chakra and higher centres, where compassion, kindness, and gentleness become more central to your experience.
Letting go of meat may also represent a desire to raise your vibration, aligning with foods that are alive and filled with energy from the earth—like fruits, vegetables, and plant-based meals. Many people who move away from meat report feeling lighter, both physically and spiritually, as they connect more deeply with the life force of the foods they consume.
The Spiritual Shift in Your Diet
As you evolve, your body’s reactions to food are not just physical; they’re deeply tied to your energy, emotions, and spiritual growth. Intolerances to foods like gluten, lactose, coffee, sugar, alcohol, and meat can be seen as opportunities to refine your diet in a way that better supports your journey.
Rather than feeling restricted, view these changes as an alignment with your higher self. Your body is guiding you towards what nourishes you at all levels—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Developing food sensitivities during spiritual evolution is an invitation to tune into your body’s wisdom, allowing it to guide you towards foods that uplift, energise, and support your unique spiritual path.
Conclusion
As you listen to your body and its changing needs, you’ll find that your spiritual evolution becomes an even more fulfilling journey. Embrace these sensitivities and see them as a reflection of your deepening alignment with your true self. Whether it’s gluten, lactose, coffee, sugar, alcohol, or meat, each shift in your diet is an opportunity to nourish both body and soul, creating harmony in every aspect of your life. By honouring the changes, you’ll cultivate a lifestyle that supports your growth, clarity, and connection to the energy that guides you forward.
