You perceive not with the physical ear, but with the spirit which is interpreted in the mind or the heart.
Also, I have never heard of the term “ear chakras”…pretty sure that’s not a thing.

From what I can personally feel, there’s a minor chakra on each ear. Though I’m not familiar with the term for it.
