Not goving a fuck is such a superpower.

I love it so much.

Yesterday I was walking around in my city and at every corner there was stuff I could do.

And even though People were nearby I didn‘t care at all.

There were 2 rabbits eating some grass, and I wanted to watch them, so I sat down on a park bench.

On that parkbench were many of those Fiery Ants, the red ones.

I just looked at them and then I saw a small stick. I took that stick and played with the Ants.

There were 2 very small ones, one white and one red. The white one was running away from the red one. So I took the Stick and let the red one crawl unto it. Then I blocked off the path for the white one and placed the red one near it and told it to attack :joy:

And it did hahaha. I had such a blast with something so simple, you should have seen me smiling :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I remembered my real self and how I loved doing that stuff as a child. It so much fun. Then I sat down in the Gras and watched those 2 rabbits eat.

Problem was a freaking dog. His Name was Diego. Hyperactive doggy scared off the rabbits, and I was like damn Diego whyy…

I do not give a fuck what I do outside, when I see something cool I just go and do it. It‘s like I live in a world of my own.

I also climbed a very high wall and sat there, while other people were passing me. Some didn‘t care, some smiled, some were impressed

I can‘t believe how I got tricked into being boring.

Just go be you.

Let me analyze:

Clearly the storck is the Leader of this Gang. The way he looks at the Dog tells me, that the dog is his most trustworthy and reliable companion.

The Pigeon looks like it has no clue what to do and is awaiting Orders from the Storck. Very Loyal, but not self sufficient.

The Cat Is secretly planning to eat the Pigeon, but because the Pigeon is always near the Storck, it must wait, because one wrong move and the Storck will tell the Dog to protects the Pigeon.

I think that‘s pretty accurate

You want to heal people with Reiki, but I’m starting to think you should keep your career options open :joy:

Learn to communicate with trees and animals and you’ll be priceless in criminal investigations.

You’ll solve 10 out of 10 cases and everyone will be like, “How the fuck does he do it?”

Meanwhile you’re just interviewing the pigeon :joy:

I‘ll keep every option open

The world itself can be so nice, with stories

I know someone who spied on her boyfriend with some trees :winking_face_with_tongue: It‘s definitely possible :joy:

And I mean look at that Pigeon, it can feel death apporoaching:joy:

Haven’t reeeeally reached a solid solution, but I live more authentically when interacting with friends, and I try to talk myself through difficult situations and be the voice of reason for myself. Growing up in an emotionally unstable home, I guess my nervous system decided that being faced with even slight negativity isn’t just unpleasant, but that it is often a threat. And, man, this is limiting, exhausting, and painful. I’ve been using subs and fields for well over ten years and trying to find calm through other practices, but the fear persists. Depending on the level of criticism I’m faced with, I sometimes have to reassure myself afterwards that no one is going to harm me, that I’ll be okay and everything is fine, my life won’t suffer as a result, etc. It makes being visible rather hard because I’ve often been ridiculed for just existing as I am. Every single member of my family has, at varying points, tried to get me to change what I look like or my personality since I was a kid. And let me assure you, I was no hellraiser. I was a shy goodie-two-shoes kid with good grades, and I stayed out of trouble as a teen.

I’d love to stop giving a shit what folks think, but I feel like that will be at least slightly easier whenever I’m financially independent and have more opportunities to live life as I please - not to say live irresponsibly, but just having the freedom to not have to explain myself to anyone, to rest as much and as long as I need, and not have to wear masks or meet someone else’s standards just to find more peace. I also feel too deeply by default, that’s not something that’s easy to wrangle. People-pleasing sucks, and I’m pushing back where I can. I’m trying to embrace the lesson that ME-pleasing isn’t selfish at all, no matter what anyone says. …yeah, I know I probably could’ve written that better. You know what I mean, lol.

Thing is, though, I feel like if I turn off the people-pleasing completely and I confront my family, I’m not going to have any tact at all. I’ll be a verbal ragebeast, and I don’t really want to be that way. Again, hard to be calm and composed when you’ve spent so much time feeling devalued and invalidated, not good enough for anyone.

Anyway, bless this forum for giving me the space to just be open and honest. I feel like I’m in good company. Healing and reparenting myself is hard work.

You always have this freedom. It is never taken from you.

I know what you mean! I guess I meant it more in the sense that when you’re living alone, it’s easier in that you literally do not have to interact at all with anyone else in your own place. It’s a little different, not interacting with someone who is sharing your living spaces vs not interacting because no one is there. When I socialize, I’m quite particular about who I spend my energy with. If I could, I’d probably nap all day, lol!
