Benefits… you can get anything from them as long as they have it. Use your imagination.
I used for test chameleon (did protection for me) as I have many psychic friends and asked them to find my field and scan me. Was very hard to do that. 
I had to deactivate that protection so they could do the scanning.
They see something as my field, but was illusionary and changing which is not normal haha
This is one of the best protections I ever experienced.
So to clarify the wording.

“I want to feel chameleon experience and have chameleon protection ability”
how did you deactivate it ?! to reactivate it do you have to listen to the audio again or do you do it by command or by thought / will ?! your experience is very encouraging, thank you very much for sharing.
First I am feeling the skill and then I use this energy to create what I want, in this case the protection. I use just visualisation, but if you can’t do it this way say it with words. Imagine a bubble of strong light that surrounds you and put that energy on it.
Thought, intention is enough to deactivate it. Or again with visualisation imagine how this is removed from the protection bubble/aura.
There are people who are trying sometimes to read my thoughts. This protection was stopping that also. When i watched what they see in this time, it shows some their projection - “What they think i will think” lol
Chameleon skills are great. Play with it and see what it can give you.
Homo sapiens? 
This gives me the idea for dolphins which can communicate through waves in a large distance. Very interesting skill.
As humans how can I benefits from this?
You can integrate benefits from other animals and use it for your own improvements, as the example i gave with the chameleon in previous post.
Another interesting experience for me was with ravens. They seem to be self-aware like humans and also they have some energetical consciousness network in which you can transfer information from one to another.

Cats purrs have been known to mend bones.
Most animals saliva speeds up wound cure.
Part of why their eyesight is so clear is because they have little to no ability to see the color blue. This may not be desirable…
But, speaking of eyesight, it’s a common belief that both cats and dogs can see spiritual beings. What about gaining this ability?
Also had this thought - migrating birds are able to find their way because they have what is essentially an organic compass in their heads/brain. Always knowing which direction is north…That’s another ability that’d be helpful, IMHO.

The females and males of the species have different approach to survival, procreation and defenses
Or if as a female you experience the female version of the animal
It’s all how you intend it to be. Good point though.
If we take it one step further it might be interesting for females to experience being a man and vice versa. Just a temporary interlude to understand the divine male and female.
