Plus, as far as I’m aware karma is not set in stone. It’s ‘‘like attracts like’’ / ‘‘Law of Attraction’’. We attract and repel stuff every day. It’s an ever-changing set of scale.
As a rule of thumb, if a belief is fear-based it’s not of the light.
