I have noticed an issue with displaying my direct messages

Hi everyone,

I noticed something strange, when I was looking up my conversation with oneira. My issue is that under the Message tab under new messages, it does not show the latest messages, but the messages up until december 2024.

To be able to see some of the newest messages I have to click on my profile and click the personal messages icon and there I can see 6 of the latest messages, when I click on “view all private” messages I can only see the mentioned messages up until december 2024.

Now I tried to move the conversion I had with oneira into the archive folder to be able to find it easier, and now it seems to be gone completely.

So this seems to be a bug in the forum software.

Hello,

I have reviewed the logs for @oneira’s as well as the system logs, but I could not find any errors related to this issue in the forum software. It’s possible that the messages were accidentally deleted or moved at some point. If you encounter this issue again, please contact us before taking any further actions.

It looks like @oneira’s account was created on January 27. This might be because the username was changed as part of the update we made for this feature. We had implemented an automatic reply function for PMs for this user during that period.

Additionally, as a helpful tip, you can bookmark any personal message or topic on the forum that you may want to revisit later.
