It is a light, and comfortable archetype, probably the most pleasant one I’ve ever worked with.
In fact, Venus and Moon are likely the most problematic planets in my natal chart. They used to cause me the greatest number of issues until I finally worked through them. Moreover, healing these two planets was absolutely critical for my entire natal chart, especially regarding self-realization, because they formed a very challenging T-Square configuration: Moon-Uranus-Venus.
Honestly, the results and shifts I describe below were influenced by both the Venus and Moon archetypes. Since I worked on them simultaneously, it’s hard to completely separate their impact, particularly when it comes to my inner emotional state.
The Venus archetype definitely brought a sense of lightness, joy, softness, and other feminine qualities into all areas of my life. This directly and indirectly impacted my relationships, self-esteem, money, self-expression, and my ability to both give and receive love.
In my relationship, where I used to criticize my partner for her imperfections, demand, expect, and overanalyze, that tendency has dropped to an absolute minimum, if not faded away entirely. I’ve started accepting my partnership exactly as it is; the urge to improve, fix, or point things out has vanished. I realized that I can be deeply sensual and tender without the fear of losing control.
I also began releasing buried emotions, feeling more deeply, and simply stopped fearing the emotions themselves. Generally speaking, feeling, empathy, and emotional expression define my evolutionary path of growth-something I need to develop in this and future lifetimes. Yet, it feels like I’ve already made massive progress right now. What seemed completely unrealistic just a few years ago now feels like a perfectly natural continuation of my inner transformation.
By the way, my wife was also using the Venus and Moon archetypes, though in a more automated way. I noticed that she stopped getting defensive against my criticism at the exact same time I stopped criticizing. To be precise, she started responding to light banter with a smile and a sense of humor. She has opened up even more lightness, spontaneity, and warmth toward me. Any misunderstandings, which were already rare, are now resolved incredibly fast through open dialogue rather than the cold shoulder I used to rely on.
And this is coming from someone who previously avoided experiencing or even feeling negative emotions altogether.
I also feel like this archetype deeply affects self-esteem-or rather, a sense of self-worth. You know, if I previously felt like I had to earn everything-and I worked on myself in that aspect for a very long time-now there is a profound realization that I am valuable simply by virtue of being born. My self-worth doesn’t depend on achievements, money, knowledge, or validation from others. A foundational, unshakeable sense of self-worth is emerging, one that doesn’t crumble in the face of mistakes, criticism, or temporary setbacks.
These archetypes have definitely had an impact on the financial side of things, because the negative feelings and emotions that used to block money are 100% gone. Even my relationship with money now has an incredible lightness and playfulness to it.
Another thing: there is sexuality, and then there is the concept of sexualness.
Sexualness is a kind of non-judgmental energy of presence that encompasses healing, care, nurturing support, joy, creativity, and expansion. It’s the energy of being truly alive, comparable to how you feel when you hold and cuddle a little puppy. It’s an “orgasmic living of life,” where you choose experiences simply because they are fun and expand your world. Most people were taught from childhood to turn off their sexualness so they wouldn’t be “bad” or “wrong.” However, I believe that recognizing this energy as a healing and creative force is exactly what allows you to shift the way you interact with the world. Venus adds that specific vibe-like having sex with money or sex with the world, for lack of a better description.
I also noticed that I stopped being dissatisfied with my appearance, picking at flaws, or comparing myself to others. For example, when you walk into the bathroom and look in a large mirror, you usually don’t think about how good-looking or great you are; instead, you immediately start searching for flaws-thinking this looks bad, that looks terrible, or that you’ve gained a few extra pounds and need to lose weight. Now, that is completely gone. It’s as if a total acceptance of my body took place, and I just practice basic self-care without demanding perfection.
Another thing I noticed is that it has become much easier for me to accept gifts, compliments, help, and care. Before, it was always tied to the feeling that I had to earn it, or that if I received something for free, people would expect something in return, creating a sense of obligation. But now, there’s a feeling that I can receive things with ease and gratitude, without any inner resistance whatsoever.
With this archetype, I feel an increasing desire to build and create from a state of joy rather than from fear or lack, which was much more familiar to me before. It’s as if creativity has stopped being a struggle. Venus injects this light, airy flow into all processes and areas; you start doing things without waiting for the perfect moment, simply because you enjoy it.
I remember about seven years ago when I entered a phase where everything I did came from a place of ease and joy. I was genuinely creating and manifesting without that heavy friction or sense of duty. Venus brings back a very similar feeling. Granted, I am certain that a solid balance is required here, especially for men, because these feminine energies can easily overpower masculine ones, leading to potential challenges with focus, persistence, following a plan, and so on.
The Venus-Uranus square in my natal chart used to trigger sudden conflicts and impulsive decisions; there were even a few times when I wanted to break off a relationship out of nowhere over some minor detail. Now, these energies are steadily transforming into a capacity for healthy freedom within a relationship.
Freedom has always been essential to me, always coming first. It really feels like this archetype enables me to be close without losing myself, and free without destroying our union. Closeness-yes, a lot more closeness and warmth have appeared. I used to be cold, while my wife always looked for warm emotional support. I was never quite able to give that to her, even though it was critical for her. It was much easier for me to do something, to show my love through an action or a gesture, but expressing my emotions was incredibly hard. The Venus and Moon archetypes started removing this blocked capacity to first receive love, and consequently, to give love and express emotions.
I also recall mentioning in a review somewhere that the Venus archetype works incredibly well in interpersonal relationships. As I see it, the vibration of love is out of reach for the vast majority of people, yet they know what it is and subconsciously desire it more than anything else in the world. The moment they sense it, they flock to this feeling, quality, or energy like moths to a flame. You become extraordinarily attractive to others; your energy simply becomes magnetic.
Since I carry the Shapeshifter archetype, it automatically brings forward whichever archetype I need most in the present moment. I’ve often noticed that in my interactions with people, instead of my usual Saturn and Capricorn energies, the Venus and Moon archetypes would activate, shifting the connection to a much deeper level. The conversation would unfold in a much better way than originally planned under my old energies.
Ladies, if you integrate these two archetypes-the Moon and Venus (heal these planets)-and then work through your relationships with men, your connections with the opposite sex will reach a completely different level of depth. I’m not saying everyone needs this, but it’s a fact.
For me, working through these specific archetypes of Venus and the Moon was necessary because they created immense tension and challenging configurations in my chart. Do men absolutely need to work through them? Probably not necessarily, though again, look at your natal chart. If your Venus was or remains in fall, pay close attention to it, because these archetypes have so much to offer.
For instance, in astrology, Venus rules beauty, harmony, friendship, and affection. It governs higher emotions, and it is undoubtedly the energy of Venus that makes life beautiful. If you heal your Venus, you will notice a shift in how people treat you; they will want to approach you, and finding common ground will become effortless.
I definitely recommend integrating Venus to anyone looking to add more pleasure, ease, and luxury to their life-especially if your life is currently dominated by rigidity, discipline, and a sense of duty, and you are used to interacting with the world solely through those lenses.
Furthermore, Venus is 100% tied to material wealth and financial prosperity. It deeply affects a person’s relationship with money, their attitude toward values and material goods, as well as their ability to attract and retain wealth. By healing your Venus, you will absolutely begin to derive more pleasure from life, from abundance, and from material things… as well as non-material ones. It will add a deeper sense of feeling and experiencing life, bringing greater satisfaction into every single aspect of existence-whether it’s enjoying a delicious morning coffee overlooking a waking city, the quiet scent in the air, buying something you’ve dreamed of for a long time, or embarking on a long-awaited journey.
With a strong Venus, you will unmistakably start finding more fulfillment in your life, discovering joy in even the simplest of things.
