From this point forward, accounts on the forum will no longer be anonymized.
The reason for this change is that the forum has gradually started filling with anonymous-style posting and “phantom” profiles, which is not healthy for the community atmosphere or for building genuine connections between members.
This does not violate anyone’s privacy or freedom in any way, because all members on the forum already use nicknames rather than their real names, and no personal information is publicly displayed.
