Some people feel they have one big life purpose they need to discover. Others believe our purpose changes as we grow – different seasons, different missions. There’s also the idea that our purpose can be less about what we do and more about how we do it (the energy we bring).
- Do you feel you have a single main life purpose, or several evolving ones?
- How did you (or how are you) discovering what feels meaningful and aligned for you?
- Does the idea of “having a purpose” feel inspiring or stressful… or both?

I don’t know if it resonates with anyone else here, but I always found a great purpose in learning skills and acquiring knowledge. I get great joy from using it and passing it on.
What I notice also is that it doesn’t matter what your passion or purpose is. Eventually it will lead you to knowing yourself and therefore to the Source itself.
Sometimes I stress over it but then I am reminded that it is pointless. No one can be the best at anything. Knowledge is bottomless. It turns out that they are both an excuse to get to something else.

I really suffered trying to locate a higher personal purpose in earlier years. Confused it with a job, career, service to collective etc. Somewhere along the middle, I felt I am playing out my purpose anyways-just unconsciously. These days I believe, everyone’s purpose is the same- to evolve. We choose different ways to it and our guiding vision looks different.
I don’t worry about a purpose now, just try to guide myself consciously to joyful presence everyday. I trust that if I keep developing a connection to Source and take conscious action everyday, whatever I be/ do will be in positive service to the collective.
