The Alchemist is the archetype of deep transformation—one who believes that everything can evolve and be refined. He is not merely a historical figure mixing potions in a lab, but a spiritual transmuter, one who turns the heavy into the light, the impure into the pure, the raw into the divine.

In traditional alchemy, the goal was to transform lead into gold. Symbolically, this represents the journey from unconscious heaviness, fear, or ego to a state of inner radiance and wisdom—the “inner gold.”

The Alchemist is both student and master of transformation. He breaks things down—not to destroy, but to rebuild at a higher frequency. He sees potential in the shadow, value in pain, and opportunity in endings.

This is one of my 3 “native” archetypes. You don’t waste even slight energy this way. Anything can be transmuted. If someone is sending you a bad vibe, you use it and change it. You feel low and sad, you feel it, grasp it and change it. For Alchemists, there is no bad or good energy; it is how you use it and what you can transform. Every experience is precious because it gives you resources and wisdom.

This Archetype is perfect for me!

Could you give a practical example of how to do that transmutation?

Someone tries to trigger my emotions for example and I can then take it and just turn it into fuel rather than waste my energy right?

I see energies and emotions in colour, so I transform one into another. If anger is red then I turn it into cold blue. Or I work with elements, too. But this can be different for everyone. I’m pretty sure this field will activate you properly.

By playing the audio or set the intention with the Mandala? Some time I will be in a situation to play the audio.

This is the skill that will come to you, and you will use it even without audio. But you can practice playing audio and work with energies, emotions, and thoughts.

Feedback after a little more than a month of integrating this Archetype.

When the Neoshamanica Level 1 course was released, there was a promotion that included a premium tier Archetype. I chose The Fate Weaver. It did not take long to realize that it was not the right match for me compared to The Alchemist, so I stopped using it. Still, I understood that nothing is ever truly wrong, it is simply a lesson, and I knew that at some point I would return for The Alchemist. In time, I did.

As with every field from Maitreya, the integration feels smooth and natural. I personally prefer the passive DM method of set and forget, aside from a few active listens during the first two days. After that, I leave the rest to the Field Optimizer together with MM. By smooth and natural I mean that very quickly any integrated field becomes part of your new self. You look back and cannot recognize who you were before having it. This has happened with every field I have used, and I speak of hundreds. The changes remain steady and lasting.

Regarding this specific field, it works exactly as Polaris described. It gives an ability or skill that feels inherent once fully integrated. For some people, such as Polaris, it may already be native, a natural gift. For others like me, it is partially native yet becomes complete only through full integration with this field. It is useful and practical in every area of life once it settles in, becoming an automatic way to transmute, re evaluate, understand and draw clear conclusions, whether the subject is an event, a situation or any kind of interaction.

Since then, I have not needed to revisit or overthink why something happened. Instead, I naturally shift the outcome within myself, which feels like a normal state of being. The description on the website is accurate and aligns with my experience point by point.

This Archetype and the abilities it brings can easily be seen as a life hack, and it is my personal favorite among the few I have tried.
