Yes, you place it in your folder and it will start working immediately if there is any aggressive energy directed at you or intent to harm you. If not, it stays passive until someone activates it.
If someone is just trying to frustrate you, it’s unlikely to activate. But if they’re trying to harm you, your reputation, or genuinely create harm against you, the field will detect that and reflect those projections back to them.
GTFO triggers fear in them, yes, but Mirror of Phantasms shows them full projections and story-like scenarios in their mind with those fears — similar to daydreaming.
