The stories that move my heart have always been about redemption and finding beuty in everyday life—even as a child, I was drawn to that kind of plot. As a teenager, I watched a lot of anime. I couldn’t tell you how many stories I consumed, but the ones I still remember, years later, are precisely those about redemption and beauty.
I think we humans have a fascinating relationship with stories. We’ve been telling them since the dawn of humanity. What is it about a story that pulls you back to it again and again?
