Well, it’s usually intuition before it’s a hearing. It’s like, get a feeling and if I’m unsure, I can ask for verification and usually get a response.
An easy beginner’s tool to use with things like this is to first be open to receiving higher guidance on an issue, then think about taking the specific action you have in mind and paying attention to your internal state. Do you feel more anxiety or peace. Anxiety means don’t do it, peace means it’s right for you so move forward.
Try this, see if it helps you discern.

the book Hands of Light shows how a clairvoyant sees an aura … the shape of the aura, etc.
Have anybody tried this?
I read it a long time ago, an interesting book
using this to aid communication with my servitors, gosh I love the journeying to remembering, when I become a god man imma come back to the level one and help those that want to be helped like you and captain nemo etc…

Update: in last chapter of boruto it seems sasuke lost his rinnigan for now…
Kakashi received a physical organ transplant that replaces his old eye, and as during the transplant the eye he received was in charingan form, Kakashi cannot return it to the state of a normal eye, because he was not the one who activated it, and therefore he does not know how to deactivate it.
But when Kakashi evolved his Sharingan and activated the higher levels of his eye, then he could freely and at will activate and deactivate all the higher levels of the sharingan, that is,because he was responsible for this evolution and had the knowledge to do it.
It’s the same for ushiwa, they are born with normal eyes that have evolutionary potential, and if they activate this potential, then they can consciously deactivate it because they know how to do it.
I think it will be the same with clairvoyance, everyone has this potential and you just have to activate it, and once activate with the right methods and associated knowledge, you will have full control of the activity and turn it off at any time. And what doesn’t go away is the ability to do it again as many times as you want.

I doubt. Cuz he used it for more a decade. So he had more experience than sasuke in general…but sasuke could try it off even when he just learned to activate it since day one…its true he could deactivate mangakyo but couldn’t still deactivate normal state of sharingan…Non uchihas actually cannot deactivate at will at return to normal eye…it’s mangakyo sharingan or just sharingan…he still couldn’t do it event hi he used for long time. Look at danzo for example. He had sharingan for two decades almost…kakashi also had mangakyo sharingan which is higher level of sharingan…he couldn’t cuz it was normally not possible for him…
But my point is that natural one is always natural. Will always be better…our one would be implanted and she already confirmed we can’t deactivate it since the field was not programmed that way I know people who can use it by training(without field) They can normally activate it by entering a certain state of brain and can deactivate at will. And those who are born with it can do it normally even without entering any state. Like activation of sharingan and turning it off at will…

This field isnt really clairvoyance.
Its more like remote sensing/viewing with added sensitivity.
The field doesnt even touch the third eye, which is what actually allows you to “see” what cant be ‘normally’ seen.
Proper clairvoyance would be a fully opened third eye and the veil between worlds fully taken down in your reality.
This is far from it.
I guess this is the “safest” alternative to actual clairvoyance.
(Which, again, simply means ‘clear sight’ aka see reality for what it is, rather than what you want to see it as)
