# Does anyone use cloud streaming for fields

I add all my mp3s to Apple Music and it puts it on iCloud. I stream them using my phone when t work.

Does streaming from cloud impact the effectiveness of the fields? I think this should be ok? Because content creators anyway upload their mp3s to Youtube and it does undergo compression there…

I did see one problem though. Apple matches music for uploaded files and if they find a match, use the track from their library. This does not cause problems for Sapien, Maitreya tracks but Shiva seems to use popular mp3s so 70% of his mp3s match and as a result, Apple’s music gets played and not the mp3 I uploaded.

As long as the files are not re-encoded and Apple doesn’t swap the file, you should be fine.
